Behind the Scenes Chat No 3: Steve Hanley

Fellow Cumbrian and all round nice guy Steve Hanley answered a couple of questions.

How important is Cumbria in regards to up and coming club and international Rugby talent? And what do you think would be the best way to cultivate it?
Cumbria has some outstandingly talented rugby players, Sharks have identified it as an area of potential and are continuing to forge great links within the county. Because it sits between Sharks and Newcastle it sometimes gets lost as a county in terms of recruitment. However with Newcastle no longer in the premiership I think it’s a fantastic opportunity for Sharks to explore further links into the county.
