Book Cover

Everyone judges a book by it's cover. I know you're not suppose to, but its hard not to. Like they say, first impressions count.
Same with people.

Cumbria and the Rugby League World Cup

At the heart of me I'm Union, however I am kindling the embers of love towards Rugby League.

Congratulations Scotland!

The best way to start a day, is seeing a tweet like this! Massive congratulations to the Scotland team. A lot of hard work went into those wins under hard conditions. Bring on the Autumn Tests!

You gotta love youtube. Thank you Samoa Tourism. Here is the match.

Day Job

Here is an interview that I did for the Discouture blog about my day job.

Behind the scenes chat No.1 with Angela Traynor

I wish Nigel was my Personal Trainer

...because how on earth could you fob him off with "Yeah Nigel! I've done my 100 push ups" when you only did 2 then collapsed! You would definitely get fit!

Crouch, touch, set!

Gone are the days of my Jean Luc Picard impression when there was a scrum.
"Engage" is no more. Well, for a trail period at least.

No bad thing really, looking at all the time wasted over the scrum.

This is what Paul Morgan had to say on the matter.

Luna on the Moon

Coming home from work today was a bit like Christmas. Because awaiting me in my post box and a package from Kirsty Pate. I met Kirsty through a mutual friend and she is the most interesting, fun character I've met in a long time! She makes unique, quirky, glitzy jewellery.
Click her to have a perusal of her collection.

She made my fascinator our friends wedding:

An epic November awaits

Not only is November my birthday month, but I also plan to go to America's West coast AND go up to Edinburgh for a 4th time this year to watch the Scotland EMC Autumn test against New Zealand.

If you need me, you'll know where I'll be

Summer Test... mini rant...

Oh dear.... England, Ireland and Wales have yet to gain a win for the Northern Hemisphere. What are we to do?! We have no hope... NOTHING!!!!!!

One can hope that Scotland would win... but they didn't :/

Salford City Stadium

Sale Sharks are moving from Edgeley Park to Salford City Stadium for the start of the 2013-13 season to share it with Salford Reds and I couldn't be happier.

If you dont ask! You dont get!

Sale Sharks (@salesharksrugby) have been very good to me.

They gave me the opportunity to contribute to the online material for the Sale Sharks youtube channel.

Editing to Music

Before I was a Remedial Massage Therapist, I was an aspiring film maker. What I love doing the most is editing footage to music. This was my first Scotland video:

Abseiling in Murrayfield

Did a bit of fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis this April, so I could do an abseil at Murrayfield.
I raised £230 :)

Me and the Egg Shaped Ball

I started to have an interest in Rugby when I was about 16. I was on holiday with my family and whilst they were ordering drinks in this bar, I (as per usual) had my eyes glued to the telly box. I was riveted. Rugby was on.
